Do I have to be a Hayagriva student to take an online course offered by Hayagriva Schools?

Yes. You need to be a student of Hayagriva Schools to attend the Online Classes.

Technical Requirements

What are the technical requirements for an online course?

All online classes require an internet connection and device to support. All the online classes are offered through Google Classrooms. An authorised email Id would be  created by the school and would be shared with students. Generally, you'll interact with the Teacher and other students via email.

What do I do if I need technical assistance?

If you are having technical problems, your first contact should be the reachus@hayagrivaschools.in. In most cases they will be able to resolve your questions. They will also be able to direct you to the right resource if you need additional support.

How do I get access to the class materials?

Once you receive your email id, you can login to the Google Classroom and you get the class materials available there. However the School office would guide you regarding the Textbooks & Notebooks.

Assessments & Grades

How frequently would I be assessed?
A student is assessed by 3 Periodical Tests and 2 Term Examinations
How do I get my grade?
The Marks and Grades of the assessments are notified to you through EduCube only

Academics

What kind of student does well with online learning?
Students who excel in online classes are generally organized, motivated, independent, and have good time-management skills.
What methods will be used to teach my online class?
Synchronous and Asynchronous classes, adhering to our Distance Learning Policy, is used to teach Online Classes.
Is there a class outline (syllabus)?
The class outline would be provided to all the Students through Learning Of the Month (Pre-Primary) and Newsletter (Class I-X), notified through EduCube
What do I do if I have questions about an assignment?
Your queries can be posted on the Google Classroom which will be addressed by the respective subject teacher
How much time will I spend in my virtual classroom?
A student has to spend 45 mins for each virtual class.
How do I get homework assignments, tests, etc.?
Homework schedule will be shared with all the students. Accordingly homework will be posted on the Google Classroom.
What if I can’t join the class as per the schedule?
Inform the Class teacher through a mail.
